Denise received her Ph.D. from University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO, 2001, in Educational Technology. She is currently an Assistant Professor at National University teaching Instructional Design to Masters students.
In 2003, Denise was instrumental in developing and implementing the first African American breast cancer support group in Orange County through The G.R.E.E.N. Foundation. She has worked in various volunteer capacities with multiple nonprofits to lend her expertise and willingness to get involved to make a difference in other people lives.
