The newly elected! Ms Betty Porter President of The G.R.E.E.N Foundation. Ms. Porter has worked with The G.R.E.E.N Foundation for 15 years and embodies the mission statement: To Gather Resources to Educate and Empower through Networks.
Ms. Porter was born in Oklahoma- but has resided in CA since the age of 18. Upon moving to Southern, CA- Ms. Porter earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. She is a mother of 3, grandmother to 11 grandchildren, and has numerous great grandchildren.
Ms. Porter comes to us with vast work experience including being a general manager at GTE/Verizon where one of her greatest accomplishments was collecting a 23.5 million dollar debt from a long distance carrier who had owed the company for over 3 years.
Ms. Porter’s community activism and service extends its reach to a number of partners including:
- Member of NAUW-Inland Empire Branch serving as 2nd Vice-President.
- Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc./ Pi Sigma Omega Chapter in Cerritos presently serving as Chaplain.
- Member of Boyd High Alumni, Frederick, OK
- Presently Member of Eastvale Bible Church, Norco, Ca, serving on the Care and Concern Ministry
She is dedicated to learning for herself and to ensure that others receive knowledge and evidence-based information by participating and sharing key messaging.
