April 2023 - Seeds of Morning Glory

Our newest partners Seeds of Morning Glory are fighting food insecurity in Long Beach. Since 2018, Seeds of Morning Glory have worked to promote self-sufficiency and stability to enhance quality of life of children, families, individuals, and those experiencing homelessness. Their main programs include food, clothing, and essential items distribution to those most in need, linkages to physical and mental health services, and community outreach events that promote community connectedness. Currently, the organization and its founder Mildred Burge are working with us on sharing COVID-19 vaccination related resources to community members in the Long Beach 3C project. Special thank you to Mildred for your devotion to empowering and improving the lives of people in Long Beach. We appreciate your support!

March 2023 - Kingdom Life Faith Center

For over 15 years, Pastor Sophia Perryman and her church Kingdom Life Faith Center have been committed and passionate servant leaders in Los Angeles County. December 2022 - Dr. Ernie Bridges

We want to give a special thank you to Dr. Ernie Bridges for serving as The G.R.E.E.N Foundation's President for 2022. We appreciate his leadership and long held commitment to creating change in the African American community.

Dr. Ernest L Bridges is a long-time educator of African-American Studies at Fullerton College and California State University Fullerton (retired). While at Fullerton College, he functioned as faculty advisor and advisor/mentor to students belonging to several campus organizations such as the Black Student Union (BSU) and campus coordinator of the Umoja Community. We thank Dr. Ernie Bridges for being a long-time collaborator and supporter of The G.R.E.E.N Foundation.

November 2022 - Christ Our Redeemer (COR) A.M.E Church
