G.R.E.E.N.

The G.R.E.E.N. Foundation (TGF) continues its tradition of collaborative community excellence—centered primarily around breast and other relevant health topics (cervical cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, and other health challenges such as diabetes, obesity, and physical activity and lifestyle)—by partnering with a diverse network of corporate sponsors, academic and community-based healthcare organizations, faith-based ministries, universities and colleges, pharmaceutical companies, and a host of other grass roots organizations that serve the challenges, needs and health priorities of a primarily African American and other underserved, vulnerable, uninsured population focus.

In articulating its vision to the community, TGF has set its agenda to include the following priorities for organizational action planning and accountability in results:

  • Providing care coordinating services to appropriate medical, health and social services.
  • Gathering into its existing vast network a set of new partnerships; and collaborating with existing partner organizations to deliver value and achievement of objectives in its outreach efforts
  • Seeking and researching potential resources for funding of community-based projects and programs
  • Providing educational forums through seminars, training, and distributing effective and relevant written materials to the targeted populations
