Ernesta Wright, BA is a native of Orange County (OC), California. She serves as the Executive Director of The G.R.E.E.N. Foundation who has 31 years of experience working in community health education and 33 years of entrepreneurial experience.
She has established a track record as an effective leader in community organizing and collaborating building to provide outreach, engagement and care navigation partnering with large organizations. Created and implemented for 10 years working with learning institutions to enhance student’s service learning experiencing through volunteering to earn community service hours. A strong network of community/grassroots organizations, to facilitate a greater impact among Black/African American (AA/B) constituents throughout the state of California. She has also positioned this grassroots agency as a leader in the fight against cancers and educate on the importance of advocacy. Ms. Wright constructed statewide collaboration between certified educators and enrollment counselors to provide expansive outreach in (AA/B) communities. Recently, her program was selected for a statewide effort to address vaccination equity and hesitancy with 30-35 community-faith organizations.
An author, of a culturally conscious, comprehensive, and evidence-based approach which encourages, empowers, and engages the (AA/B) communities about the importance of prevention. She is satisfied to be known as a servant leader working at the local level. A mother of two loving grown children and proud grandmother of two lovely girls.
